Traditional Fans Are A Pain.

    • They’re a money pit: Old school blowers are expensive to buy, cost even more to run, and when they break (which they will) tenants will leave for a building that can move comfortable air, 24/7.
    • They’re way too complex: Newer fan array models are overly complicated, slower to design, and your team can’t maintain them. You’ll need to call in specialized support for every little fix.
    • They’re wasting your time: Whatever route you take, you’ll be working for your fan around the clock calling vendors and fielding complaints about downtime, over and over again.

The Q-PAC Fan instantly works with your project specs, and constantly optimizes to meet your goals. Optimize multiple motors to work as a single fan, fit a new fan seamlessly into any major air handler, and maximize performance with the latest tech.

    About the Speaker:

Today, Mo Afshin works closely with design engineers to ensure the proper design and implementation of advanced air movement solutions within complex building mechanical systems. A Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in British Columbia, he brings over 16 years of specialized expertise in custom air handling, Indoor Environment Quality, and exhaust air energy recovery.

Mo is a recognized leader in the global HVAC community, serving as a member and Past Chair of ASHRAE Technical Committee 5.5 (Air-to-Air Energy Recovery), and as a former President of the ASHRAE British Columbia Chapter. He holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering where his published research on liquid desiccant systems advanced the industry’s understanding of high-efficiency energy exchangers.

His work is focused on bridging the gap between IAQ standards and the practical, energy-efficient, and sustainable application of HVAC technologies in real-world systems.
